Kissimmee and Central Florida are adding a range of new attractions, dining options, festivals, and accommodation developments for spring 2026. Blue Man Group returns to Orlando with a resident production at ICON Park, opening 1st May 2026, hosted in the new Blue Man Theater. Walt Disney World is reopening several attractions with updates this season. At Magic Kingdom Park, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin returns with refreshed targets and updated gameplay, while Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopens with new trains, special effects, and an expanded storyline.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will introduce a new mission from 22nd May 2026, incorporating characters from The Mandalorian. EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival runs through 1st June, featuring the Garden Rocks Concert Series.
SeaWorld Orlando’s Seven Seas Food Festival continues through 17th May, offering over 200 dishes across nearly 30 marketplace huts, with eight new concepts, a three-course dinner at Sharks Underwater Grill, and monthly wine-pairing events added for 2026. Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval ran through 4th April, while Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift, a roller coaster featuring a 170-foot vertical spike, is scheduled to open at Universal Studios Florida in 2027. Old Town Entertainment District marks its 40th anniversary in 2026, while WonderWorks Orlando celebrates its 28th, introducing Super Blasters, an immersive simulator, and SketchBot AI, a STEAM-based experience.Experience Kissimmee, in partnership with Atlas Obscura, has launched the Latin Culinary Trail featuring 20 restaurants, cafés, and food trucks across Osceola County, with accompanying digital storytelling content. Gaylord Palms Resort has introduced the Palms Honeycomb Lager, produced in collaboration with Crooked Can Brewing Company using honey from the resort’s on-site apiary.
On the accommodation front, Everest Place at Nickelodeon Hotels and Resorts Orlando will bring a family resort to Kissimmee featuring the Aqua Nick Water Park, character meet-and-greets, and the Mysk By Shaza luxury lifestyle hotel. The Ovation Entertainment District will deliver 670,000 square feet of retail, dining, entertainment, and 740 hotel rooms and condominiums across five zones.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are also scheduled to bring NFL fixtures to Central Florida for the 2027 season.
